The 2008 BPA Spring Leadership Conference will be held this year at OSU Okmulgee on March 11 and Oral Roberts University in Tulsa on March 12.

You put all this effort into your competition make sure you get to reap the awards by going on stage and receiving your award. If you are not dressed professional you will not be allowed on stage at the Awards Assembly. Make sure you follow this dress code or you will be turned away.
Males: Button down shirt and dress slacks, and dress shoes or boots. Neckties and sport coats are optional but may be appropriate.
Females : Business suit, business pantsuit, business dress, skirt and blouse, dress shoes and hosiery.Online testing will be open from February 5 through February 18, 2008 and will NOT be done by region. Advisors may test members anytime during that time frame. However, waiting until the last minute is always dangerous. A ticket to test is needed by each member to present to the testing liaison. Click here to view the testing liaisons. The ticket will list the member's name, division, membership ID number, chapter name, plus the required and/or open tests the members will be taking. Each member has a membership ID number that is available from the national membership database.

Registration will be open December 20, 2007 through February 4, 2008.
Are you a natural leader? If so, complete and return the Officer Application Packet no later than January 30. Being a member of the State Executive Council is a wonderful opportunity for members to develop leadership skills, build character, travel and network with members across our great state, and experience the true meaning of teamwork!
One of the requirements of the application process is to take an online test on February 6. The exam contains 4 essay and 30 multiple choice/true false questions. Here is a suggested study resource. If you have any questions regarding the process to prepare to be the next member of the BPA Executive Council, please contact Debbie Hamble. Interviews will be held on February 6, 2008.
Always wanted to be on American Idol but never auditioned? Here is the next best thing...how about auditioning to sing the National Anthem at SLC! If interested complete this form and submit a tape or cd of you singing the National Anthem by February 2.
Not a singer...how about an announcer? We are looking for members to serve as an announcer at SLC. All you have to do is complete this form and make a tape or cd of yourself reading this script. You must submit the form and tape or cd by February 2.
The Oklahoma Department of CareerTech office now requires chapter advisors to provide accurate and current information about their members participating in each conference/event to school superintendents and principals in case of emergency. Please review the procedures memo and download a copy of the Conference Information sheet to share with your administration
Contact the BITE Office by February 2 if advisors or members need modifications or have special requirements for contests or lodging.
The State Conference can not go on without the help of numerous volunteers. We are in need of individuals who would be interested in serving as a judge, proctor or grader for our 2007 State Conference on March 13 at OSU-Okmulgee. If you are interested, please complete the judges information form and submit by February 7. Feel free to share this information with your colleagues.
