National Leadership Academy

We are pleased to announce that there will be (3) three opportunities for your members to participate in the National Leadership Academy. Below are brief descriptions of each program and attached are three flyers to promote the programs. I will send the two necessary applications in an email following this one.

Super Intern Program:This year a new program is being offered to former Leadership Academy Participants and former National Officers. It is called the Super Intern Program. State Officer Academy: Open to current elected and future-elect state officers. State Advisor must complete the general application for officers wishing to participate and return to sgfroerer@bpa.org no later than April 24, 2006. Click here to download this brochure.

Junior High/Middle Level Academy: Open to all Middle Level participants registered for the National Leadership Conference. This will be a part of their overall program and they will be enrolled automatically. No prior approval or application is needed. This will be promoted on www.bpa.org. Secondary/Post-Secondary Academy: Open to all Secondary, Post-Secondary, and Associate members. Application and approval from the LOCAL advisor is required. There are 300 spaces and the first 150 applicants will receive a $40.00 scholarship to cover the cost of the program. The remaining applicants will be assessed a $40.00 program fee in addition to the NLC registration fee. We will accept applications through April 24, 2006 or until all spaces are filled.
