General Conference Information | Theme

This year's theme for Fall Conference will be "Leadership Revealed."

Please click here to download a bulletin containing information about the 2012 Oklahoma BPA Fall Leadership Conference.

Students should be dressed professionally. The purpose of the dress code is to uphold the image of the association and its members. Here are the guildelines for FLC's Dress Code:

Dress Code: Conference shirt and khaki pants/capris or denim jeans/capris. No sweatpants, shorts, flip flops or visible body piercing, other than ears, on males or females will be allowed.

FLC T-Shirt

FLC Shirt

The FLC T-Shirt Design and Shirt Colors is now announced. The picture to the left is a rendering of the conference t-shirts. The color will be antique royal / royal blue. The main FLC Logo will be screen printed on the back of the t-shirt, and the BPA logo will be on the front.

Restrooms are available on the 1st floor for students to change into their FLC T-shirts.

Conference Agenda

Fall Leadership Conference is a half-day conference. Registration will open at 7:30AM, and the conference will adjourn at 12:00PM. FIrst set of workshops will start at 8:45AM, the General Session at 10:00AM, and the final set of workshops at 10:45AM.

Hotel Information

This year we have accommodations setup for the Oklahoma Fall Leadership Conference at the Hampton Inn on N.W. Expressway in Oklahoma City. Use the information below when making your hotel reservations. Please call the hotel reservation number and mention the "BPA/DECA Fall Leadership Conference," in order to receive the designated discount.

Participants need to say BPA first, not DECA because that is how it is in the system, last year there were problems because some ask for DECA/BPA.

Oklahoma Pin Design Contest

Each year, each state involved with Business Professionals of America has a unique pin students are able to trade at the National Leadership Conference. It allows the students to network within the organization and hopefully, provides them a chance to make some new friends from across the country.
Oklahoma needs a pin for this year, and state officers are in hopes YOUR students will be able to help. The annual pin design contest needs designs.
Pin Designs are due in a PDF of JPG format to the state office via e-mail ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) by September 17th, 2012.

State-Wide Community Service Project: Chain of Love

Oklahoma BPA will once again participate in the "Chain of Love" community service project. All dollar amounts pledged must be sent to Debbie Hamble at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by October 10th, 2012. Proceeds will benefit Special Olympics.

  • Make a donation to your local chapter and received a “paper link.”
  • Decorate the link, and add it to your chapter’s chain.
  • Bring your chapter’s chain and money to FLC.
  • Top three chapters will be recognized on stage.
  • Participating in the Chain of Love makes a chapter eligible for Special Olympics BPA Cares Award.

Officer Handbooks

Students will need to print out their handbooks for their respective FLC workshops. The handbooks will not be provided at the workshop.
